These alternatives are most relevant when external graphics is part of the plan. Compare the dock, card and power supply as a complete setup. Buying a connector without knowing which GPU and model will use it can add cost without solving a real limit.

The HX 370 variant uses onboard memory, so capacity is a purchase decision. Other processors also appear under the SER9 Pro label. Confirm the actual chip before applying a review or comparing a sale price.
Model fit, memory channels, supported drivers and actual hardware use come first. A newer chip running on the CPU can lose the practical advantage you expected from AI marketing. Check the backend before spending more to solve what may be a software configuration problem.
It is useful for smaller local models with a supported backend. NPU capability does not automatically accelerate every application.
Choose HX 470 for a modest premium in an otherwise matched configuration. A better RAM setup or a substantial discount can make HX 370 the better buy.
