In short
Set up Plaud Note Pro in the official app, make a short recording and check the full capture-to-summary workflow before relying on it. The first useful test is hearing the audio and finding the corresponding transcript, rather than exploring every template.
Set up the Plaud Note Pro
Charge the device, install the official Plaud app and create or sign into your account. Follow the app’s device-binding instructions and apply any offered firmware update. Confirm the account’s available transcription allowance before starting a long session.
Record a meeting
Place the recorder where it can hear the group and start recording with the physical control. Confirm the display status. Stop after a short sample, sync it and listen for quiet speakers or handling noise. Adjust placement before beginning the full meeting.
Record a phone call
Attach the recorder to the phone as instructed and verify call mode. Tell the other caller you intend to record. Test your actual phone and case combination; changing the attachment or switching to a headset can change capture conditions.
Turn it off and charge it
Stop the active recording and confirm it has saved before handling power controls. Use the supplied charging arrangement and follow the current manual for shutdown. Ending a recording, going into standby and powering down are different states; the display helps identify which state the device is in.
Frequently asked questions
How do I turn off the Plaud Note Pro?
Finish recording first, then follow the current device manual’s power procedure. Do not treat ending a recording as proof that the recorder is fully powered down.
How does Plaud work?
The recorder captures audio; the app transfers it to the service for transcription, summaries and retrieval.
